TalentBridge is a unique program delivered by OCRI to give Ontario’s young talent an opportunity to work closely with Ottawa based SME’s in the areas of business strategy, marketing, sales and/or business communication.  Student participants of TalentBridge spend 14 weeks (working full time) or 28 weeks (working part time) with the senior executive of an Ottawa based technology SME (Small or Medium Enterprise) while working on a project in the above areas. If of interest, please feel free to contact us at anytime for specific details about the program.

About TalentBridge

Description: The objective of the TalentBridge program is to provide qualified student(s) with valuable experience and critical skills development in the fields of business strategy, sales, marketing and business communication. Besides, the program is also meant to give student(s) a good understanding of the challenges of entrepreneurship and innovation management.

Job: The TalentBridge work term is either a 14 week full time work commitment over one academic semester or a 28 week part time work commitment across two academic semesters. During the full time work engagement, student(s) spend 4 days a week on-site at the SME location working on a defined project in one of the areas mentioned above. Student(s) also spend 1 day a week on-site at OCRI’s Entrepreneurship Centre to work on the development and rollout of the next generation of entrepreneurship support programs for the Ottawa community.

Eligibility: We are looking for student(s) from across all disciplines and from all years of study. We are particularly interested in student(s) with a keen business sense, an avid interest in business development, and good appreciation of technology.
