Reigning City [of Ottawa] tennis champion Mike Verney is so convinced of the power of a beginner forehand that he is packaging tennis in its most innovative form yet. Verney Tennis is this summer offering an hour introductory tennis lesson for a mere five dollars, racquets included.

“My hope is that kids will sample the sport and become addicted, and maybe sign themselves up for more lessons and one of our summer camps,” said Mike.” My mission for the summer of 2006 is clear -- to infect Ottawans with my love of the classic sport and populate my summer tennis programs. I’m even going to offer glasses of lemonade to ensure a sweet end to their match.

Verney Tennis is offering full and half day tennis camps, evening lessons and private lessons through out the Ottawa region. All tennis instructors are certified by Tennis Canada, have first aid and CPR and are personable and professional.

The Computer Phix is a company that specializes in Computer repair and upgrade.
We do all kinds of repairs and upgrades, this includes any software or hardware problems. Our main focus is to make the process of computer service as convenient and as painless as possible. That's the reason why we charge flat rate fees instead of the commonly used hourly system because we understand the hassles that come with an hourly rate system.

We also offer great computer products at great prices. This includes new computers, custom built computers, wireless devices, printers, cameras, etc. Refer to our products page, and if you don't find what you are looking for, give us a call and we will make sure to serve you.

The current focus is the jewelry line, which is constructed from sterling silver or aluminum wire, and tastefully accented with beads of varying colors. Pieces range from simple to funky, appeal to all ages, and are priced reasonably.

Upon noting the lack of art and craft venues in Ottawa, Catalyst Designs is now looking for hosts to organize home-parties as an alternative. A website for Catalyst Designs is currently being developed, which will feature a gallery and upcoming events section.

Cody Chenier, CHENCAN; Drive-way Sealing
Age 18
613-859-1580
chen0296@algonquincollege.com

CHENCAN is a student run Summer Company that is devoted to satisfying and providing high quality customer service. CHENCAN’s goal is to beat competitor prices, while surpassing their quality of work. CHENCAN is your answer to Premium revitalization this summer!

CHENCAN's specialty this season is Asphalt sealing. Asphalt sealing is a preventative and cosmetic treatment for asphalt driveways. Asphalt is the “glue” that holds together the gravel and sand particles that actually make the superb driveway surface. Over time asphalt is damaged by the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays, and also oxygen in the air. The UV rays and the oxidation cause the asphalt to become brittle, brittle asphalt can crack. Cracks allow water to enter the paved surface. This water freezes in cold climates causing further damage.

So what does sealing your driveway do? Sealing your driveway fills any eroded asphalt preventing further cracks, wear and discoloration. A thin layer of sealer is sprayed onto the existing surface revitalizing your driveway and the exterior of your home.

So this summer let CHENCAN give your asphalt a little C.P.R.
