Starting Your Business Information Sessions

Have you ever thought of running your own business, but aren’t quite sure what’s involved? In this information session, you will learn about:

• The different forms of business organization, and their advantages and disadvantages;

• PST and GST and

• The basic regulations you may need to follow when starting your business.

Sessions are held, free of charge, typically on the second and fourth Fridays of each month (some exceptions may apply), from 12:00pm until 1:00pm (unless otherwise indicated*):

As attendance for these sessions is on a first-come-first served basis and therefore not guaranteed, it is recommended you come ahead of the start time to secure your seat.

Unfortunately seating is limited due to room size and no admittance will be possible after seating capacity has been reached. There will be many resources you will be able to take advantage of at the centre, such as our free information area, reference library and research computers.
