This workshop is the first Eco-Preneurship Day in partnership between the Sustainable Enterprise Alliance and the OCRI Entrepreneurship Centre. It will provide an overview of a wide range of sustainability management topics to aid businesses in identifying the most impactful and cost-effective environmental strategies. The information covered, from waste management and energy efficiency, to certifying your business as green will help transform genuine environmental desire into genuine environmental leadership. The workshop will be led by Carole Lair of Greenvolution Inc. A networking opportunity, led by Kristina Inrig of Sustainable Foundations Inc., will showcase best practices from business leaders and Sustainable Enterprise Alliance members. To read Carole Lair's biography, click here. Kristina Elizabeth Inrig is the President of Sustainable Foundations Inc., a green real estate investment firm in Eastern Ontario. Her focus is developing green rental properties and providing sustainable investing opportunities. She also works in the environmental non-profit sector with groups including Tucker House Renewal Centre and Greening Sacred Spaces and as chair of the National Capital Environmental Network. Kristina is a graduate from Carleton University with a BPAPM - Bach. of Public Affairs and Policy Management in Development Studies with a minor in Technology, Society, and Environmental Studies. Kristina sits on the Board of Directors for the Peace & Environmental Resource Centre and is a member of the TD Friends of the Environment Ottawa Chapter.
