FITT Instructor Profiles

Suzanne Cascanette is a licensed Canadian Customs House Broker and CIFFA certified International Freight Forwarder who offers over twenty years experience in branch operations and sales successes, relating to both import and export scenarios.

As a FITT Certified International Trade Professional partnering with DHL Global Forwarding - global leader of supply chain freight management services, she enjoys actively participating in international trade developments in Canada and round the world.

 

 

 

 

Mr. John MacDonald, is a consultant and logistician certified in both Canada and the UK. He is a regular lecturer with FITT, a member of the FITT Assessment Team (Logistics) and certified trainer with over 16 years experience.

 

Norm Hotckiss 
When it comes to international trade, Norman Hotchkiss not only talks the talk — he walks the walk!

An exceptional communicator and trade expert, Norm Hotchkiss has served as Director of Small Business Services at EDC. Before joining EDC, he worked for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and has operated his own trade business as a partner for over a decade. He is currently a Business Professor at Algonquin College.
 

 

 

Mr. Abdel Azzouzi has over 5 years of international trade experience in Canada and overseas. During his career he headed "Abimex International", a consulting company specializing in providing international trade services. He also worked as an International Trade Office for Global Development Group. He currently works as an International Trade Consultant. Mr. Azzouzi's area of specializations are: International Commercial Law, International Business Transactions, and Government & International Procurement (UN, IFIs). He holds a bachelor of Law (LL.L), Master (LL.M) of International Law and CITP.

 

 

Lynn MacDonald has over 15 years experience in management, over 10 years experience in marketing, communications and project management and over 7 years experience in the international market. She did over 3 years as a change management consultant for a crown corporation.

She is currently an independent consultant. She taught  international business courses at the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College. She was the International Marketing Manager for a private international corporation – which has five divisions in 12 locations in Canada, United States and Chile. She was responsible for developing and implementing international business and marketing plans. She was also involved with the new companies setup, and mergers and acquisitions of international companies.

Prior to being the International Marketing Manager, she worked as an Export Marketing Manager with an engineering firm, worked at a number of hi-tech companies in a communication and marketing capacity.

She possesses an Executive Master of Business Administration and a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation.
