Start with a Plan, Make it Happen
High School Business Plan Competition
An opportunity for Ontario high school students to compete with
their peers throughout the province for cash awards.
Eligibility:
- The Competition is open to all students enrolled full-time
in an Ottawa region high school
- The business plan must involve an idea that is wholly original
(no duplicating/copying of an existing business or franchise)
- The winner from each school will become a finalist in the
local competition
- The winner of the local competition will compete for placement
in both the Regional and Provincial competitions
The pre-registration deadline is Friday, April 25th,
2008.
Business plans must be submitted to the Entrepreneurship Centre
by Friday June 9th, 2008.
Prizes
The top plan from each school will be awarded $75.
Overall winners will receive:
1st place $250
2nd place $150
3rd place $100
